Word Plug in commands: Inserting text anywhere on the document with a click.
I was wondering is there a plug in that you can create in a task pane with a button. Where you press that button and then click anywhere in the document and add a table at the specific place where you clicked. The only onclick commands I know has to deal with buttons and I think in order to click anywhere on the document it might have something to do with bindings.
My only idea is to have the user write a very specific sequence and then the program will search the entire document for that sequence and replace it. For example "Write the sequence 'GGGGGG' and then click this button to generate a table where 'GGGGGG' is."
